NAZI GERMANY: WEHRPASS - LIEBERMANN, LEOPOLD (1943)

56-paged military ID issued in 1943 to a 44 year old with entries up to 1943.  The ID indicates the holder as being from Rottweil.  Page 5 indicates his being called up on 08 November 1943 into the Landsturm (colloquially referred to as the Volkssturm).  Page 12 shows his former active service in the infantry from 12 October 1909 until 21 September 1911; from 15 April until 03 May 1914; and, finally, from 04 August 1914 until 20 November 1918 (during the first World War).  Page 22 shows his promotions during these periods:  on 20 May 1915 to Corporal; 13 December 1916 to Unteroffizier; 19 January 1918 to Sergeant.  Page 24 shows three decorations, one of them being the Iron Cross, Second Class (21 April 1917); another being a Service Decoration, Third Class (12 May 1918).  Page 29 has anb ink stamp from a French Transit Camp dated 29 May 1947.  The pass was in obvious use in postwar Germany, as the markings have been "denazified".  The cover of the pass is stamped "Heer".  There are entries and stamps on 11 of the pages.
